Great Game!. Might be a decent game when played with a controller, but feels like some sloppy/lazy port from console to PC when playing with keyboard/mouse combo. Horrible control scheme for movement with mouse/keyboard (WASD), also: first game ever that didn't recognice the additional keys from my G602. I did not like the game as a dark souls fan because the combat mechanics do not feel comfortable, animations are not optimized enough and It does not make me play it again and again. I think this was the last time I played this game.. I couldn't enjoy this game as much as i'd like to. So, from what few hours i've played, here's what i think of it so far: the narrations/voice-overs was dull, & i thought the controls for combat were too 'weird' for an action styled game; if you press the dodge button twice really fast, the game will put the 2nd dodge input into a queueing-system, forcing you to dodge twice even after secondsish of no input from the time of your 1st dodge... so if you ever panic & rapidly press the dodge button (like i do all the time xP) then you end up dodging when you dont want to...., which can be very frustrating if an enemy hits you because of thatFor the price of what it is, its not bad, but its not good either. Love it! I love everything about Fall of Light - the fighting, the survival, the need to take care of your daughter. The enemy kites you and there are many, many places in the beginning of the game where you get 1 hit killed, both by traps or enemies.You can carry 2 weapons. A loot based game, this is not. Which is fine.In short: The combat is sluggish and just doesnt feel right. The enemies do not seem to operate under the same ruleset as the player, which makes combat frustrating. Hard is fine, but this is just being an a-hole to the player. I do not agree with other reviews here stating it is "fair", as it surely shows it is not.
